"The company has great lactation rooms that are really helpful and also a great maternity leave policy. The only thing is that depending on the team you’re on, it can get difficult to get away from your desk to actually use the lactation room. "

"My time at JPMC could have been much better if management adhered to the corporate policies and initiatives. The company encouraged work/life balance - my manager was inflexible with any fluctuation in schedule except for Dr. appts. The company encouraged diversity - my manager had a reputation for firing and more harshly reviewing female analysts (regardless of performance.) I left the company when I couldn't take any more of the manager's harassment despite having reported her to Human Resources multiple times. Because of this manager I've had to choose between caring for my newborn and myself...of course I chose to take care of my child but am now dealing with the health issues I neglected."

"Flexibility depends on what department you work in. Generally, the corporate policies are very generous. However, each department within the Line of Business can interpret however it will. The manager I reported to went against the Managing Director's very flexible policy even though being inflexible was not warranted - basically the workers had to be flexible with their schedule regarding after-hours and weekend support but the manager I reported to didn't allow for much flexibility when work/life balance was needed. Very unfair and discriminating."
