"They are trying to improve, but there is a heavy "just like me" bias to promotions and evaluations of potential. This leads to men promoting and mentoring men for leadership roles while amazing women stagnate in support and mid-management roles."

"Whether you’re treated well (flex location, hours) or less flexibly, your treatment is based on your performance. In my experience, performance evaluation is 100% subjective, based almost solely on a single manager’s opinion. A solid, unbiased managed that has not been recruited to the “boy’s club” is everything. "
