"Michelin operates based on core values that focus on respect for its people. There is a big push recently to prepare more women for management and leadership roles in the company and special training is being provided to aid in this. The company culture allows for the flexibility required to balance work and life with a family."

"My job requires me to be on call. However, when I'm on vacation, have an appointment outside work or a family issues comes up that requires me to leave, that time can either be made up or a colleague will cover for me. "

"Communication is poor - everything is in French (training documents, Michelin-made software, etc). In the manufacturing plants, you do not get holidays off. If you want to be off on Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, etc.. You have to take vacation for that (and yes - you only get 2 weeks of vacation when you start)"
