"Northwestern Mutual is an incredible place to work! The flexibility and work-life balance is a huge plus for a working mom like myself. As a new employee, everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. I'm so impressed with the D&I strategies the company has in place and the way NM is helping all of the communities they are in. "

"There is a huge need for women to become financial advisor's in the world we live in today- in 4/10 households women are the breadwinners and only 16% of the Financial advising force on women. Women need an advisor who can relate with them and understand their needs. I would encourage more women to look at the industry and understand the NM is leading the way in creating an inclusive culture that promotes work-life harmony. "

"The job allows me the opportunity to provide for my family on my own schedule. The culture is very supportive and understanding or having a family and outside responsibilities. As a woman this job allows you to relate and connect with people on so many levels. There are not enough women doing this job, so it is a growing industry for women!"
