"For a large corporate company, they are relatively progressive with their benefits (maternity leave, paternity leave, flex-time, scholar program), but there is a lot of work that still needs to be done to promote a culture of work-life balance."

"It is male dominant in many places, however, I feel as though the company culture is changing to be more equal and woman are beginning to have a stronger role in management. If times seem hard, just keep pushing because things are changing."

"I believe it truly depends on your role and type of business. If you are in a finance or supply chain role, you would be able to do your work remotely and would be more flexible in taking time off. However, if you work in operations or directly with a manufacturing line then you may not have as much flexibility. Or if your superior says you can be flexible, it might be frowned upon and hurt how your superior views your work ethic."
