"I've been at SCE for nearly 20 years and genuinely feel that most departments are very supportive of women and there is a sincere desire for women to succeed, The majority of my department's executives are women. I would definitely recommend SCE to other women. "

"Each department sets its own telecommuting policies, so it will depend on the department, as well as whether the position is amenable to telecommuting. My experience has been that there is a lot of flexibility for hours and the ability to leave early occasionally for appointments for salaried positions, countered by some late nights when needed. The culture is very supportive of both men and women."

"I took a 4-month maternity leave after the birth of each of my two children. It was some time ago, so I do not remember now many weeks were paid and how many were unpaid. Many women in our department take 6 months off before returning, and it has not impeded their career progression or promotion success."

"Unfortunately, flexibility is minimal here, and the culture has shifted to requiring night and weekend hours regularly. Many positions are expected to be "on" 24/7."
