"The benefits here are great, and they make it a priority to hear people out about what could make our lives easier. Something that I have noticed is that it takes forever to get promoted. No matter how long you have been here, and how much you have contributed, it is so rare for someone to get promoted. I have heard of colleagues leaving for 4 months to another company and then coming back and applying to a higher position to come back just so they can get that promotion themselves and get the higher pay they are looking for. Aside from that being more of a con, Schwab is known for having a great caring culture in the work environment, their facilities are top notch."

We all understand that lay offs can happen but you don't need to treat people who have worked at your company for years like literal garbage when you throw them out the door.
