"There are many women in leadership positions and inspirational roles in Teradata - more so than I have seen in any other tech company that I have worked at prior to coming here. It's wonderful to have so many role models and aspire to be one for others. In general, I have also found colleagues to be extremely helpful and generous with their time. In other words, it's a great place for a woman to work, grow and expand her skill set."

"During the pandemic, it has never been more evident how much Teradata believes in its women and particularly in its mothers. With all of us having to deal with kids underfoot, we have been lifted up and given support to flex when we need to, work where we need to and how we need to. Even before the pandemic this was mostly the case, but it has become a front and center topic of support from the leadership down. "

"Maternity is 8 weeks, paternity is 8 weeks anytime in the first 12 months after the event (birth, adoption, or foster care placement). There's also additional time off for unpaid family or medical leave (12 weeks) which can be tapped into anytime in a 12 month period, including pregnancy, adoption, foster care placement, illness, etc. "
