"It took me a long time to be taken seriously and seen as an important part of the team I worked for, I had male bosses hired after me that I was required to train and carry the weight for, But there has been a shift in the last few years and I have worked hard to be a valuable part of the team and am taken seriously and feel valued now. I still have questions as to if my pay is equal to my male counterparts though."
