Women's Job Satisfaction (5=very satisfied)

I work with talented leaders that don't see me as just another employee. They care, they seek to hear my voice, and they want to know more about me as a person. Our parental leave policy is best-in-class and truly helps families focus on important time with their new child. Our vacation/holiday program is generous and allows us to get away from the office to refresh & relax.

Our company understands that life doesn't just happen outside of working hours. I've always found my leadership to be supportive when I need to take care of things like doctor appointments, kid activities, illness, etc. I appreciate not feeling judged about facetime and instead are held accountable for my performance regardless of what time of day I'm able to login to achieve my goals.

We offer both men and women 12 weeks of paid parental leave plus short-term disability on top of this. It's a really bold move to ensure our employees can focus on their families and has helped in attracting and retaining talent.

Make sure you are coming in at a manger or higher level. Also seek a sponsor right away. Environment is great but depends on where you are (not uniform). People are wonderful!

If you are a problem solver (as most women are), and want to make positive changes with products, services and in the world, then you need to review opportunities at Thomson Reuters! I have been very fortunate to be a part of this organization that has allowed me to solve for problems outside of my role, which has lead me to additional roles. I happen to have my dream job now as the Director of Community Relations! I help people every day, representing Thomson Reuters!

I actually adopted, not maternity leave, and they still allowed me to do this. Now they have a parental leave policy that includes men being able to take the same amount of time as women (12 weeks), and either can take it within the first year of the child either being born or coming to live with them (foster or adopt). Amazing!

As with most large companies, it is sometimes about the direct manager. But the Corporate view is a positive one. They listen.

Great time off and health insurance benefits. In my experience my managers have been understanding and accommodating when time is needed for appointments or emergencies.

TR has made it a priority to promote women in Technology from the upper echelons of leadership. They've also implemented balanced and generous parental leave for women AND MEN which I think is just amazing. I'm also super proud to work for the company that includes Reuters news agency - one of the best, least biased and most respected news agencies in the world. Also - working in Technology - i feel that they respect and promote women more than many other organizations and I feel that I'm setup for success here. LOVE IT AT TR! #working@TR

I work in technology, a traditionally male dominated arena, but our team are split evenly male/female at management level. I feel in the wider company at executive level, there is a positive and visible drive towards gender diversity and on the ground I have had significant support from female and male colleagues to enable progression through a variety of roles in the department.

Personally I chose a flexible work arrangement to accommodate other interests and charity work, rather than for family reasons and this has been just as positively accommodated as others who chose flexibility for family.
