"It's academia, meaning change is slow. Senior leadership is generally male, but junior leadership is more balanced. Childcare is a university-wide issue that needs greater recognition and supportive policy."

"Great work place, very flexible, great for families. Pay isn't that great but you can always climb the ladder here and get better pay. Support staff are with the union. "

"I get 6 weeks paid and then I took 1 week off using my vacation time. I believe if you go through the health care here then you get up to 3 months off. But you will have to use short term or long term disability to get the 3 months off. Not too sure, since I only did my 6 weeks paid with them. I had health through my husbands work place. "
