"When I worked there in 2015, the maternity policy was 4-6 weeks (C-section - 6 weeks). Trust me, they expected for you to be back full-time after the 6 weeks. My immediate boss was really inflexible. One time he even said, "Even 6 weeks is too long!" No comment..."

"Even though my pay stub showed 120 hours of available PTO, I had to fight with the boss for every hour I requested. After a month of negotiation, he let me take 10 days off to visit my dying grandpa, who lived overseas. When I requested half day off almost a month after coming back, he would not let me - "you just came back from a two-week vacation!" Bereavement is not a vacation in my vocabulary... That said, the financial advisor I worked for was inflexible, I was not lucky, but I cannot speak for the rest of them."
