"There has been a significant effort to bring parity to our organization, including dedicated women's initiatives within the practice (that are sponsored by members of our executive team). As a female on my team, I am not only a minority in the practice but in the industry. I find in a lot of ways this actually provides MORE opportunity for me. The only warning I would provide is that given the limited number of women in mentorship, often our senior-level recruits are inundated with requests from junior team members for coaching, or from marketing/recruiting to represent the firm."
