"ZS has good flexibility and generally a better travel schedule than other consulting firms. The workload is definitely significant, but that is to be expected in this industry. We also have an excellent women's group/women's leadership initiative that is helping push even more for our opportunities and equality. I feel it is a special place with a really great culture for men and women alike."

"The hours are quite substantial, but I feel that we can "move them around" as needed in order to honor our personal commitments. As long as you get your work done, you can leave or work from home at basically any point as needed."

"Honestly, I couldn't imagine a better company to work for. The benefits are generous (and equal for women), the culture is extremely genuine, collaborative and respectful - I can count on my colleagues to help out when I'm in need with projects or with personal situations, and to really be a sounding board as I navigate my career. The professional development opportunity is huge - I have a few mentors, men and women, who proactively give me advice to try and help me to succeed and advance in my career. Further, there are many initiatives driven from the top to ensure we have the right mechanisms in place to support women in their progression to leadership positions in the firm."

"Flexibility is incredible. My team (both supervisors and reports) respect my judgement of personal commitments and are always willing to adapt our work schedule if need be (e.g. doctor's appointment, contractor at home, family milestones/event)."

"The flexibility of working here makes having a career and a family fairly sustainable. Of course, you need to protect your time both at work and at home, and there will be required time-shifting, but overall, life here is balanced. There are some issues that the company is trying to sort out (more women in leadership, unconscious bias), but they address it head-on and are very open to feedback. "
