During this event, we will celebrate and recognize the efforts of individuals and companies that are committed to supporting LGBTQIA+ employees and communities. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from leaders and advocates within the LGBTQIA+ community, participate in our discussion, and learn best practices for promoting LGBTQIA+ inclusivity in the workplace. We will recognize the progress that has been made and the necessary steps to continue pushing for greater acceptance and empowering LGBTQIA+ individuals in the workplace.

Mariko Siewenie (she/they) is an acoustics engineer at General Motors and serves as the President of GM's 2SLGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group, GM PLUS. She started her career with GM in manufacturing at Marion Metal Center after graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical engineering. Now an acoustics engineer, Mariko lives in Detroit with her partner and dog, Maggie.

Shardé Anderson is a Talent Acquisition Partner (Recruiter) at General Motors and a board member of the GM PLUS Employee Resource Group who is passionate about helping job seekers achieve their goals. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Shardé holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations from Southeast Missouri Sate University, as well as Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Shardé is a strong believer in workplace allyship and working to build partnerships that raise awareness, offer mentoring, and advocate for marginalized coworkers. She believes in the importance of creating an inclusive work environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and respected. For Shardé, the table is big enough for us all to have a place.

Kayden Robinson

Kayden Robinson (He/Him/His) is a Talent Acquisition Partner and a member of GM's PLUS Employee Resource Group. Kayden is passionate about empowering people from all backgrounds and walks of life to achieve their dreams. He is a native of Metro-Detroit, Michigan, and holds a bachelor's degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies & History from Grand Valley State University, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from Central Michigan University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Human Resources Administration. As a member and ally of the LGBTQIA community, Kayden promotes creativity and learning by amplifying marginalized communities' voices in the workplace. An avid technology enthusiast, he uses technology to connect, empower, and inspire people to live authentically at work. Using his own experience, he believes we enrich each other, our communities, and the world by sharing our own stories, talents, and experiences.

Jamison Hamilton

Jamison Hamilton(they/she) is an acoustics engineer working in virtual analysis at General Motors and a board member of the GM PLUS Employee Resource Group. They love helping coach others, either in public speaking skills or various methods used in innovative spaces at GM. Jamison has lived in Michigan(and worked for GM) for 10 years and has a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with an acoustics concentration from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Jamison wants to inspire the coworkers around them to be authentically themselves and not have to worry about hiding parts of themselves so that everyone can focus on designing and building wonderful vehicles. They love being behind the scenes and cheering other people on, but are also happy to step up and present or be part of a panel. Inclusion and Equity are things that Jamison believes in and they can’t wait until everyone has a seat at the table.
