April-Hope (AH) is the Continuous Improvement Grain Lead for 30+ interior grain terminals along and east of the Mississippi River. AH has over a decade of barge, bluewater shipping, and rail operations experience. She entered the maritime industry through the grain industry after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. in Technical Systems Management. Sokchea Som graduated from The Ohio State University in 2019 with a B.S. in Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering with a specialization in Biosystems and minor in Humanitarian Engineering. She was born and raised a Buckeye in Columbus, Ohio. Right out of college, she joined Cargill as an Operations Management Associate in Cheyenne Wells, CO where she spent 16 months training as a Production Supervisor.
