    The Risk Operations Department at BILL is dedicated to reducing fraud and credit loss across our suite of financial products. We support frontline operations across broader Risk Ops, including fraud prevention, transaction review, underwriting, and collections. We are committed to continuous improvement and are seeking a dynamic leader to drive learning, development, and quality assurance/control (QA/QC) across our operational teams.

    As the Supervisor, Risk Training and Quality, you will directly manage QA Analysts responsible for performance evaluations and process adherence across Risk Operations. In parallel, you will partner cross-functionally to lead L&D efforts that improve training accessibility, onboarding, and process documentation. Your work will support Collections and other Risk Ops functions, playing a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and compliance.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    Direct QA Team Supervision

    • Manage day-to-day performance of QA team members, providing coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
    • Set and monitor QA performance metrics aligned to compliance, accuracy, and customer experience.
    • Run QA calibrations and reporting cycles, identifying trends and creating plans for remediation.

    Training & Onboarding

    • Conduct needs assessments across Risk Ops (Collections, Fraud, etc.) to identify knowledge and skill gaps.
    • Develop and deliver training programs that drive early effectiveness and long-term team capability.
    • Implement multi-format onboarding experiences that promote retention and job readiness.

    Knowledge Management

    • Contribute to the evolution of a centralized knowledge base of processes and procedures.
    • Curate and update self-serve content (articles, guides, videos) that reduce error rates and improve decision-making.

    Cross-Functional Partnership

    • Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Ops teams to ensure training and QA programs align to evolving requirements.
    • Stay current on industry regulations and control expectations to future-proof program strategy.

    We'd love to chat if you have:

    • 3+ years of Supervisor experience in L&D and QA within operational risk functions (fraud, collections, transaction monitoring).
    • Experience managing or mentoring QA teams with a data-driven mindset.
    • Knowledge of risk and frameworks (e.g., FDCPA, TCPA, KYC/KYB) is preferred.
    • Strong instructional design and facilitation skills with adult learning principles.
    • Ability to analyze QA data and translate it into actionable performance strategies.
    • A collaborative, empathetic leadership style and a bias toward structure and clarity.

    The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

    $76,900-$91,900 USD
