Job Summary

As a senior member of the R&D Organization, you will be working on Virtuoso Electrically Aware Design (EAD) flow.

The EAD flow lets you capture the current data from design simulations, extract and visualize RC parasitics as you edit the layout, perform EM checks and fix violations. This tool lets design teams monitor electrical issues while a layout is created, rather than waiting until the layout is completed before verifying that it meets the original design intent.

You will work for our top semiconductor customers to drive and build unique and innovative solutions to implement cutting-edge designs. You will have an opportunity to acquire both breadth and depth of technical knowledge and get wide exposure to the latest designs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with R&D from sign off teams and product engineers to evolve and enhance tools for in design RC extraction and EM analysis.

Job Responsibilities

• Debug, design and code (in C++) complex problems related to EAD.

• Analyze layout cross sections for advanced electronic circuits.

• Produce efficient, scalable and innovative solutions to customer problems using tool capabilities

• Drive process improvements and manage project schedules, dependencies, and deliverables.

• Deploy ML/AI based Solutions to improve productivity.

• Collaborate with worldwide R&D/PE/AE team members and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Electrical/Electronics

Experience and Technical Skills required

• 15+ years of software development experience in electronic circuits/EDA/layouts.

• Strong programming skills (C++, SKILL)

• Experience in Python, Qt will be a plus.

• Good understanding of an electronic circuit/parasitic/EM characteristics.
