Position summary

  • Execute multiple overlapping templated and non-templated styling soft and hard goods, PDP (Product Detail Page) products, wardrobe, prop, food, and lifestyle sets with limited oversight and approval.

  • Work closely with leads on production, creative, and art department to ensure cohesive execution of styling vision.

  • Effectively delegate tasks to the stylists and assistants and provide clear direction.

  • Act as a problem solver, addressing any issues that arise during the styling process.

  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.

  • Communicate regularly with leads to provide project status updates and ensure alignment with project objectives.

  • Work with the art director to fulfill creative briefs and complete assignments.

  • Act as a brand and product representative for the Art Department when needed.

  • Collaborate with art directors and the art operations team on budgeting and resourcing.

  • Research, document, and pitch shoppable props, wardrobe, furniture, and décor elements.

  • Work with the sample team to ensure preparation, handling, and tracking of products.

  • Support the organization and maintenance of creative supplies, tools, creative elements, and workspaces.

What You'll Need:

  • 4+ of styling experience within a photo and video studio, production company, or creative agency, including styling on location.

  • Proficient in prop and lifestyle set dressing, product lay downs, and on-figure wardrobe.

  • Proficient in budgeting and record-keeping.

  • Ability to draft visual mock-ups and demonstrate set styling placements.

  • Aspirations to teach and educate others on your process and expertise.

  • Ability to follow Chewy brand guidelines and creative standards.

  • Knowledge of current trends.

  • Proficiency with design programs to create visual mock-ups.

  • Proficiency with software applications used in a creative studio.

  • Highly motivated with a high level of initiative; ability to support Marketing's creative goals and Chewy's goals collaboratively.

  • Ability to work in an environment with all pet types.

  • Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

  • Position may require 10% travel.

  • May require flexibility in work schedules
