    • Set clear HSE targets and objectives, translating strategy into actionable plans and ensuring timely execution and measurable performance improvements.

    • Provide expert leadership in daily HSE operations, including incident investigations, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

    • Use data-driven insights to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement actions to enhance HSE metrics and outcomes.

    • Coach and develop teams while fostering a learning culture, ensuring capability building, succession readiness, and alignment with emerging HSE trends and best practices.

    To be successful in this role you will need the following:

    • Strong HSE leadership and system integration capability: Ability to drive the implementation and consolidation of regional HSE programs into a cohesive, efficient management framework aligned to global and regional standards.

    • Stakeholder influence and collaboration skills: Proven ability to partner with regional leadership, cross-functional teams, and contractors to align on objectives, influence decisions, and drive consistent HSE outcomes.

    • Operational execution and accountability mindset: Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, audits, reporting, and resource allocation while ensuring follow-through on corrective actions and measurable performance improvements.

    • Risk management and problem-solving expertise: Capability to proactively identify risks, lead incident investigations, manage change, and resolve complex HSE and sustainability challenges while standardising best practices across sites.

    • People-focused leadership and culture building: Ability to coach and develop diverse teams, foster psychological safety, and drive a culture of continuous improvement, proactive behaviours, and safety ownership across the region.

    Education/ Experience

    • College, university, or equivalent degree in Occupational Health, Safety or Environmental required.

    • Professional certification in HSE-related field preferred.

    • Significant relevant experience required, including management of health, safety and/or environmental ISO Standards required.

    • Requires 5-7 years of experience in HSE and 1-2 years management experience.
