    Position summary

    processes such as turning, gear tooth cutting, heat treatment of the gears-including carburizing, oil quenching, tempering, and induction hardening-as well as hard grinding, lapping, testing, shot peening, phosphating, and packaging.

    Activities:

    • Execute reports in the Oracle system.

    • Coordinate capacity studies.

    • Coordinate time and motion studies for the processes defined in Engranes.

    The student will gain experience in:

    • Using KIMOS software.

    • Using Minitab software.

    • Using AVICS software.

    • Using Oracle software.

    The requirements are as follows:

    • Availability for 1 year as an active student (enrolled in university through June-July 2027).

    • Availability to work 7 morning hours Monday through Friday, preferably from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

    • Student in Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Automotive Systems Engineering.

    • Must have a Federal Taxpayer ID (RFC).

    • English proficiency: Intermediate (speaking, writing, and listening).

    • Positive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
