Education Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/System Administration or similar technical field or equivalent work experience
Experience in using SRE or DevOps methodologies
Experience in running production services on container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes/Helm
Experience with building resilient services using metrics, logs, and alerts to provide operational insights, with tools such as Prometheus and Elasticsearch
Experience in cloud and on-premises infrastructure with tools for infrastructure as code and configuration management
Experience in Software engineering within high-level programming languages such as Java/Kotlin, Javascript, Python, and databases such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra
Experience with Linux, bash scripts, network protocols
Experience in Incident response and postmortem
Experience in Capacity planning and management
Experience within Information security management systems and enforcing Procedures and Security Controls
Experience with Data Privacy and Protection
Experience with source code control using Git and one of the CI/CD tools like Concourse, CircleCI, FluxCD, ArgoCD
Experience with public cloud providers, like GCP, Azure, AWS
Personal characteristics
Good communication skills and ability to explain SRE related subjects
Outgoing, service minded and customer focused
This role involves work for customers who manage critical infrastructure; based on customer requirements it will be necessary to carry out background checks and suitability assessments as part of the hiring process.
