Responsibilities
Stands in for the Team Leader, when necessary; during planned absence such as training and holiday. Note: This role requires that the individual's holiday is not planned at the same time as the responsible Team Leader.

Co-ordinate the day to day delivery of the operational plan.

Carry out detailed changeover / handovers to enhance the departments performance
Understand department and Company KPI's and co-ordinate activities to deliver and improve them
Share your knowledge with others by supporting them to achieve the operating standards
Co-ordinate / take responsibility for department projects and trials with your colleagues
Operate and maintain a wide range of processes or a limited range in particular depth
Complete relevant documentation in a timely, conscientious and accurate manner
Requirements
Experience:
Demonstrated use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
Extensive previous manufacturing experience is essential
Good communication and presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work without immediate and constant supervision
Can demonstrate and believe in a "can do" attitude.
PC skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel. Use of Baan is essential
Training:
Proven technical capability and experience, working in a food manufacturing environment
Qualified and approved as technical operator or willing and capable of gaining the qualification
Good level of verbal and numerical literacy.
Other Skills
