Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Web Application Development:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications for Lenovo's eService platforms using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and responsive interfaces.
  • Ensure websites meet performance, scalability, and security standards.

• Project Delivery:

  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate project deliveries aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT infrastructure, DevOps, and testing teams, to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze existing systems and propose improvements to optimize performance and maintainability.

  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies and incorporate them into project designs as appropriate.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Java development experience.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Understand IO, multithread, reflection, memory management, class loading mechanisms.
  • Java web development framework and toolsets (SpringMVC, Spring-Boot, Spring-Cloud, Mybatis, etc.)
  • Experience with middleware technologies and messaging queues such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and their practical application in software development.

• Web Development: Familiarity with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.

• Database Skills: Experience with relational databases like Mongo DB and PGSQL and other database experience like MySQL, SQL Server.

• DevOps Knowledge: Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Nice to have: Experience on Large Language Model(LLM) and basic AI knowledge.

• Language: Fluent in English, nice to have Mandarin fluency.
