Description and Requirements
Motorola North America is seeking a dynamic and creative PR and Social Media Intern to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of technology and consumer electronics while contributing to the promotion of iconic products like the Motorola Razr and other cutting-edge devices.
This internship will take place in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the creation and scheduling of engaging social media content across platforms like Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Support PR initiatives, including drafting press releases, media lists, and event materials.
Monitor social media trends, news, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for engagement.
Engage with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
Track and report on social media and PR campaign performance using analytics tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on creative campaigns and product launches.
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including copywriting and editing.
Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Creativity and a keen eye for visual and brand storytelling.
Familiarity with public relations concepts and tools, including press releases and media relations.
Passion for technology, social media, and storytelling.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
