• Purpose
Lenovo's Solutions & Services Group (SSG) is seeking a Strategic Senior Program Manager to oversee the ISG Hybrid Cloud Services and High Performance Computing areas to further drive our service-led transformation. This leadership position is a challenging opportunity to leverage your experience and skills in a dynamic and complex ISG services organization. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for representing the company's delivery of strategic solutions and high quality services focused on high performance computing in the ISG Hybrid Cloud space, as well as providing service leads for large enterprise customers. The successful candidate must be able to manage and execute complex strategic programs on their own initiative. Experience and proven track record in a large IT and consulting services organization and in high-end services for the largest domestic enterprises (especially in the automotive industry) is a must, not only internally but also with all stakeholders (customer management and technical executives, project leaders, and Lenovo international and domestic executives) Excellent communication skills with, and experience in consulting and senior management positions are required.
We leverage the full ecosystem of partner capabilities and internal resources to provide end-to-end ISG service solutions (pre-sales, project delivery, and operations and maintenance services) to our customers. We also serve as your trusted service advisor and primary Lenovo point of contact to assist you in all aspects of your IT service transformation.
• Job Description
Team management for ISG Hybrid Cloud Delivery Division (hiring, training, talent management, annual planning, financial management, reporting to various higher level organizations, etc.)
Service account management for our largest customers (pre-sales proposal support, contract support, construction and deployment projects, operations and maintenance service support, overall optimization support, etc.)
Work closely with and team up with global account teams for major automotive customers to achieve ONE Team support for sales and service to customers.
Provide long-term engagement with global customers to help drive their business through ISG's Hybrid Cloud Services and High Performance Computing Services.
Develop close and positive relationships with CxO clients to enable early involvement in their challenges and solutions.
Make presentations to client senior management as needed (including steering committee support)
Understand customer expectations and ensure that goals and objectives are properly set and managed
Lead project teams in the delivery of hybrid cloud services
Focus on coordinating with internal resources/stakeholders, third parties/vendors, and customers to ensure flawless execution of large solution projects.
Provide best management practices to ensure that all ISG projects are completed on time and within budget
Involve relevant stakeholders (internal and external and global) to develop project scope and goals and ensure technical feasibility.
Ensure internal resources are available and allocated appropriately
Assist each project manager in reviewing and developing a detailed project plan to ensure project execution
Review and coach each project manager as appropriate to manage changes in scope, schedule, and cost
Promote standardization and optimization to ensure that each project manager uses the appropriate Lenovo systems, tools and techniques
Report to Lenovo management both domestically and internationally as needed for prompt escalation & control
Build and manage relationships with customers and all stakeholders (internal or partners)
Implement strategic risk management to minimize risk for each project
Hold regular meetings and maintain strong relationships with third parties/vendors on each project to review and control progress
Achieve high customer satisfaction and loyalty and contribute to upselling for additional solutions and services
Support the overall service growth objectives in the area of responsibility (SSG/ISG)
Responsible for creating and editing project deliverables and providing them to the client
Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and projected future state of the IT infrastructure market, including trends, technologies, and standards
People management experience most preferred.
• Work experience
Excellent experience in computer science or engineering to carry out technical and strategic programs & projects is preferred.
Experience in IT Project Management and Solutions & Consulting
Technical background in previous roles with a good understanding of or hands-on experience with projects related to IT infrastructure
High degree of autonomy and proactivity, strong mentality in high pressure situations
Excellent leadership and customer facing skills
Experience in overall talent management (hiring, development, assignments, coaching, evaluation, annual planning, etc.)
Excellent documentation skills

Experience
Around 10 years of proven track record in delivering end-to-end Hybrid Cloud or Supercomputer solutions (pre-sales, project delivery, operation, and maintenance services)
Around 5 years of experience managing large-scale Hybrid Cloud or Supercomputer deployment for major enterprise customers.
Service account management experience for major customers.
Experience building positive relationships with CxO-level customers and internal stakeholders.
Experience in datacenter, hybrid cloud, or supercomputer engineering.
Strong leadership in managing large-scale projects across global teams.
Extensive experience leading complex programs for IT infrastructure.
Experience in people/team management.
Skills, Competency
Business Communication in Japanese
English Business Communication (TOEIC 850) or higher or equivalent experience is desirable (with the ability to escalate to Lenovo's international leadership and governance regular correspondence).
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to build strong relationships.
Strong project management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and budgets.- Able to work and commute within Aichi/Nagoya region

Experience
Experience in Hybrid Cloud technology such as AWS, Azure, GCP, VMWare vSphere, Nutanix, OpenStack, Azure Stack, Kubernetes, Openshift, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, VPN, AWS VPC, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, SAN.
Experience managing deployment of High-Performance Computing, high-end servers, and storage.
Experience in data center certifications and facility management (e.g., HVAC, data center clean room, airflow management, UPS, power distribution equipment).
Familiar with major automotive customer style project/program/operations management.
Skills, Competency
Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
Certifications related to Hybrid Cloud computing.
Ability to provide strategic solutions and consulting services for major customers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
