Accountabilities & Impact:

  • Timely preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures

  • Assist with building out annual operating budgets

  • Drive continuous improvement in the accounting function and billing/accounting systems and create SOPs for key processes

  • Support capital expenditure, including reporting & reconciliation

  • Oversee all invoicing and receivables for third party billing

  • Monitor project costs against budgets and explain variances through improved reporting

Skills & Experiences Needed:

  • Completed bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years in a Senior Accountant role with strong full-cycle accounting experience

  • Experience with accounting systems

  • Intermediate to advanced excel

  • Preferred experience in construction industry

What We Offer:

  • The typical hiring range for this position is from $85,000 to $95,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity
