What you'll do in the role:
Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm
Responsible for both individual and team deliverables and projects, leveraging knowledge of Finance functional area, tools and/or products
Adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls
Act as a culture carrier; embody the Firm's values and hold yourself accountable to Firm standards
Develop and maintain an in depth understanding of Advisor Compensation Policies to effectively support both Field Management and Home Office teams in execution of the program
Partner with Field leadership to deliver day to day compensation support and respond to compensation related questions and escalations
Manage and resolve Field inquiries by investigating issues, clarifying policy, and providing clear, well supported responses
Ensure all written and verbal communications reflect Firm tone, style, and branch standards, with a strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail
Partner with senior leaders, HR, and other business stakeholders to translate complex compensation concepts into clear, employee friendly communications
Collaborate cross functionally with colleagues in HR, Field Management, Technology, Finance, and Operations
Perform analytical investigations across business units, including collaboration with Technology and Operations teams to identify root causes and corrective actions
Communicate updates to Field Management regarding new or revised procedures, policies, events, and training initiatives
What you'll bring to the role:
Working knowledge of Finance functional area, industry and competitive environment
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt to various audiences
Willingness to seek guidance and provide feedback to further develop self and peers
Bachelor's degree
2-3 years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, with preferred exposure to Wealth Management
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Demonstrated self starter who thrives in a fast paced, team oriented environment
Highly detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables under committed deadlines
Proactive learner with a positive, solution oriented attitude
Motivation for continuous improvement and innovation
Independent, resourceful, and accountable in executing responsibilities
Familiarity with Alteryx and Dataiku is a plus
AI Integration Experience: Ability to manage AI agents and incorporate them into innovative business solutions
Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive compensation information
Ability to investigate, explain, and recommend corrective actions as neede
Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders and Field leadership

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $115,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
