re not only part of history, they're making history.The software team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as an *Embedded Software Engineer *based out of Camarillo, CA. and support our EA-18G Growler Program. All software tasking will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.

What you'll get to do:
Basic Qualifications for Embedded Software Engineer:
BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experience
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#
Knowledge of object-oriented software development
Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
US Citizenship required
Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher
*Preferred Qualifications: *
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong collaborative mindset
Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program
Experience programming with Ada language
Experience programming with C++ language
Experience with real-time embedded software development
Experience working in an Agile environment
Electronic Warfare system development and design experience
Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
