Northrop Grumman offers two weeks (up to 80 hours) of paid leave to a parent within one year of the birth or the finalization of a child's adoption.

The Northrop Grumman paid parental leave policy offers employees two weeks (up to 80 hours) of paid time off within the first twelve months following the birth of a child or placement of a child through adoption. Paid parental leave runs concurrently with FMLA job protected time away from work, but it is in addition to time away from work being paid through disability or state provided paid leave.

Employees have up to 10 days a year.

10 Days of back-up care, Elder Care Assist--on-site assessment and conversation with elders to best understand current state and to make recommendations for housing, home modifications, accommodations, caregiving needs, estate planning and more.Additionally, employees can call and talk with Eldercare specialists who will make recommendations for resources for families, saving hours of research for family members.

Any employee can leverage our part-time option to phase in a post-maternity return. Women have been leveraging this option for years.

Employees can leverage Flexible Work Options to work with their managers in creating part-time work before or after parental leave.
