What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leading, growing, and managing a team of product managers and developer relations managers defining Earth-2 and related Climate and Weather products and engaging the ecosystem

  • Building market analysis that provides the data to enter or change new markets through a clear value proposition

  • Serve as the voice of climate and weather developers and researchers to champion their needs through roadmaps and drive adoption of our product

  • Work closely with engineering to set requirements and priorities

  • Engage customers and present at conferences

  • Define the Earth-2 go-to-market strategy and contribute to the cross-functional implementation of the plan across Marketing, PR, Sales, etc

  • Work with marketing to define positioning that enables the communication of the product value proposition for our quantum products

What We Need To See:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field or equivalent experience (Ph.D. or Masters preferred)

  • Extensive background in Climate Science, with familiarity in numerical methods, AI techniques and the Climate and Weather ecosystem

  • Meaningful experience in a technical product leadership role at a technology company

  • At least 10 overall years experience delivering software, libraries and SDKs

  • At least 5 years managing technical or product teams

  • World-class communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate a value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd:

  • Experience with large scale high performance computing or AI workflows

  • Familiarity with latest developemnts in AI for Climate methods

  • Experience with CUDA or GPU computing

The base salary range is 272,000 USD - 425,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
