Where you'll work
This is a hybrid role in Irving, Tx office and requires in-office collaboration.
What you will be doing:
Demonstrates a professional, proactive work ethic, and establishes and maintains effective channels of communication with healthcare providers and internal team members.
Provides operational support and assistance with credentials to internal customers and stakeholders under the guidance of the Credentialing Lead and in accordance with the Shiftkey's expectations.
Maintains accuracy and efficiency in documentation for all credentialing functions and activities
Validates credentials and licenses to ensure compliance to local, state, and federal regulations
Partners with Credentialing Leads to process and adjudicate background checks
Responds to internal and external customer inquiries with professionalism and anticipates potential issues and proactively acts to solve them
Participates as a member of project teams and executes on assignments to support credentialing initiatives
Monitors and manages operational and credentialing queues as assigned by region
Proactively reports potential roadblocks, barriers, or other issues to credentialing leadership
Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
What you'll need:
High School Diploma or GED required
3+ years of experience in healthcare, data entry, or related fields required
1+ years of healthcare compliance, credentialing, privileging, or quality experience preferred
Experience working in a fast paced working environment
Excellent time-management
Detail oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace Products
Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
