The Silicon Labs Internet of Things (IoT) Infrastructure Software team is an elite group of software engineers focused on developing internal tools and frameworks. Our team has a deep understanding of all aspects of semiconductor software development, including embedded, object-oriented applications, database, and web analytics.

What you will need to know?

  • Good understanding of data architectures, including data models, databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and data lakehouses.

  • Support development of data strategies aligned with business objectives and future growth plans Collaborating with stakeholders to gather data requirements and define data standards and governance policies

  • Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies and tools for data storage, processing, and analytics

  • Overseeing data integration, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure efficient data movement and transformation

  • Ensuring data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements Monitoring data performance, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing data processes for efficiency and scalability.

  • Writing code in SQL, Python and Terraform.

  • Developing and deploying Infrastructure-As-Code and CI/CD automation (Jenkins).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics or Mathematics or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in data analysis.

  • Technical proficiency in SQL, Python and/or R.

  • Hands on experience building reports and dashboards with tools such as Power BI and Superset. Hands on experience with glue, redshift.

  • Strong knowledge of how relational databases work and various schema types - normalized, STAR, Snowflake.

  • Experience writing queries for MSSQL server, Postgres, Redshift and AWS Athena or Trino.

  • Exposure to analysis using machine learning related projects is a plus. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications Considered a Plus

  • Understanding of automated test environments for hardware validation or software QA

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools for CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code
