ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a talented, experienced Principal software engineer who can not only architect and code solutions, but also help define a vision, and lead the team to deliver on that vision. As the technical leader on the team, your decisions will have a significant impact on Notebooks and the direct experience of the various Snowflake user personas who use Notebooks on a daily basis.

You will work at the intersection of data, GenAI/ML, frontend development, and people and culture. You will have the opportunity to shape our best-of-breed tech stack, including React/Hooks, TypeScript, JAVA, C++, and Python.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

• The estimated base salary range for this role is $235,000 - $368,000.

• Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
