Mechanical Engineering Internship

Works to create 3D models and CAD drawings

• Work with team members to achieve short term milestones as assigned by project teams.

• Design, document and review detailed part drawings and work with Model Shop to have parts fabricated. Incorporate design feedback into drawing updates.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical design and test of development programs

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Support production program failures, analyses and tooling design as needed

• Process drawing changes from redlines through full Agile release using Sparton's change management process.

• Other assignments may be added / adjusted as applicable

Requirements:

Sparton interns must meet the following criteria:

• Nice to Have: Course Completion of Finite Element Analysis Course

• Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.

• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be able to work on-site in De Leon Springs, FL
