Position summary
design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
- Scale up systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation, and initiate changes that improve system reliability and processing speed.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent working experience.
- Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
- Knowledge of networking, operation system, database system and container technology.
- Good understanding of microservice architecture, and an understanding in troubleshooting in large scale distributed systems.
- High oral and written proficiency in English and Mandarin required: this role involves frequent communication with global teams, clients and stakeholders in English speaking regions as well as Mandarin speaking markets. High oral and written proficiency in Mandarin is essential to effectively engage with Chinese speaking partners, understand cultural nuances, and navigate business transactions in key markets, ensuring smooth cross cultural collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands on experience in common open-source system such as Linux, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and ELK.
- Experience in building solutions with AWS, Google, Azures and other cloud services
- Working in international teams and across timezones effectively (US, Dublin, China, Singapore)
- Passionate, self-motivated and good teamwork skills.
