    Position summary

h more than 1 billion loyal users globally, TikTok is the ideal platform to deliver a brand new and exciting shopping experience. TikTok is already the place where trends first surface, and where brands, creators, and consumers are connected in meaningful ways - nowhere is this more true than in K-Beauty, where affiliate-led discovery, bundle innovation, and creator storytelling have driven category-defining growth.
This is a hybrid Business Development and Account Management role focused exclusively on Korean beauty brands. You will own the full lifecycle for a portfolio of fast-growing K-Beauty sellers - from prospecting and pitching, through onboarding and integration, into ongoing account management, growth planning, and commercial performance. You will be the day-to-day commercial lead for some of the most dynamic brands on the platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Directly manage a portfolio of fast-growing K-Beauty brands post-onboarding - owning GMV targets, content and affiliate strategy, campaign participation, and ads investment.
    • Translate the K-Beauty playbook (affiliate tier strategy, bundle architecture, hero SKU concentration, AOV optimisation) into bespoke growth plans for each brand.
    • Coach brands and their creator partners on shoppable content, GMV Max, Live, and ShopTab strategy to maximise organic and paid distribution.
    • Drive the end-to-end campaign lifecycle-securing brand investment and internal resources, coordinating cross-functionally with creators and agencies for execution, and delivering post-event case studies that evolve into replicable playbooks.
    • Build and own the reporting cadence with brand HQ - weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews delivered in-language where required.
    • Partner with internal teams (Onboarding, Operations, Marketing, Affiliate, Ads, Logistics) to help brands navigate integration and unblock growth, and to optimise the BD-to-AM handover process.
    • Represent the K-Beauty portfolio internally - surfacing insights, trends, and product feedback that shape category strategy and platform roadmap.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience in business development, account management, vendor acquisition, or commercial roles at a retailer, marketplace, e-commerce platform, or beauty brand.
    • Experience working with beauty, personal care, or consumable brands, ideally with exposure to the K-Beauty ecosystem (brands, distributors, or agencies).
    • Experience engaging with and influencing executive leadership in B2B settings, and negotiating commercial outcomes that deliver for both sides.
    • Experience managing a scalable process to meet monthly and quarterly OKRs, with the analytical and problem-solving ability to improve that process as the business scales.
    • UK market experience.
    • Fluency in Korean (written and spoken, business level) is required. You will be the primary point of contact for Korea-based brand HQs, regional distributors, and Seoul-based commercial teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Existing network with K-Beauty brands, Korean distributors, agencies, or HQ commercial teams in Seoul.
    • Practical understanding of social commerce, content marketing, affiliate programmes, and creator economics.
    • Prior experience on TikTok Shop or a comparable social commerce platform (Coupang, Naver Shopping, Shopee, Lazada, Amazon).
    • Strong data sense - comfortable with GMV, AOV, GPM, affiliate tier mechanics, and able to build the commercial case from first principles.
    • Quick learner, proactive and resilient, comfortable thriving in ambiguity and adjusting fast to change.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Korean, with a track record of building trusted relationships with brand partners.
