elping them choose the best system solution from Waters product portfolio to address the customers' analytical challenges. The Application Chemist will do sample analysis across multiple types of applications (not limited to), Food & Environment, Chemical Materials, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences with a focus on Thermal Analysis instrumentation.
Responsibilities
Sales supporting such as customer co-visiting, documents generation, solution presentation, etc.
Provide application consultancy services and technical support to end users
Conduct or support local seminars, marketing events and solution demonstration on the customer sites.
Plan, localize and implement diversified business development programs according to program codes in related industries.
Work closely with sales to achieve and exceed business goals.
Perform instrument demonstrations and provide expert advice to customers during the sales process, focusing on how Waters system solutions will address and benefit the customer's needs.
Perform system and application training as well as technical sponsor to customers after the product has been installed.
Teamwork with Marketing, Service and Sales teams to collect, evaluate, and forecast the local business data.
Qualifications
Education:
Master's degree, or PhD in scientific areas such as physics, chemistry, materials science and engineering.
Experience:
3+ years scientific instrument experience.
Experience with TMA, DMA, DSC, TGA, etc. will be a plus.
