Salesforce Maternity Leave Comments
  • "Work hard and don't wait for deals to come to you. Set your self- brand strategy from day 1. The higher up you get the more you will work with men, a lot of women I know took maternity leave, the company is extremely supportive of this and even have an internal taskforce called FemmeForce which is all about equality for women. The Enterprise team however is a lot more men-focussed and not a lot of promotions from within." - Anonymous
  • "Women are still outnumbered (even in the marketing department), and are definitely underrepresented at the exec/c-level. That said, women are treated with equality and respect, and I'm surrounded by a lot of great, powerful women in leadership roles. Salesforce also makes a huge effort to address women-specific needs (free mammograms on campus, generous maternity leave, period stuff in bathrooms, etc). I would highly highly recommend this workspace for women. It's not perfect, but you won't find better in the Bay." - Anonymous
  • "While the company is male-heavy overall, there are a good amount of women in leadership positions. They have programs for women and there is a focus on always having a certain % of women in key meetings, participating in public speaking opportunities, and more. It is a very career-focused, fast-paced environment, and while it's a flexible work setting (telecommuting, etc), they do expect a lot if you want to advance. Moving up seems to be very reliant on networking, can be harder to advance if you are not in HQ. Great maternity and paternity leave (partially paid short term disability and 8 weeks additional time, 4 day/wk transitional return for you first month back, excellent mother's room facilities in offices)." - Anonymous

  • "It's a really great place to be for women. The maternity is great, they also do a new paternity leave now in EMEA (12 weeks paid) and benefits like health care cover the family. There needs to be more women in leadership positions in certain parts of the organisation including the one I work in. I've been very well supported in my personal career goals since joining, I couldn't recommend Salesforce highly enough." - Anonymous
  • "after I took my maternity leave, they allowed 6 months of paid maternity or paternity leave. it's awesome, i wish it had been implemented sooner. " - Anonymous
  • "When taking into account short term disability and Salesforce's 12 weeks of leave, non-California employees currently get 18 weeks of paid lead (80% paid)." - Anonymous
