My take is if there is a dress code in place it should not matter if you are remote or not. You are to adhere to the dress code. You are meeting and presenting yourself to others. You should be dressed appropriately . Most every place I have worked. Tank tops, sundresses anything with spaghetti straps was a no-no. We have a casual work environment but wearing something inappropriate even via video conference is inappropriate.
