FIRE - Financially Independent, (Semi-) Retie Early

FIRE - Financially Independent, (Semi-) Retie Early

How best secure semi-retired work? Find a new position while working or retire, then find work to appropriately bolster my retirement income?

I am fortunate and irritated enough with my current corporate job to retire early instead of quitting and finding more workin my field.

Until I hit 59.5 and can start drawing my401k without penalty? I will need to supplement my income.

I want to focus on doing my best work during the last stint working for my current employer.

The semi-retirement job can be part time, without benefits and low wage fun and non-capitalist.

Thank you, FBG.

Find something you love to and learn to do it very well. Then you will enjoy it and look forward to doing the work. Make sure it pays the money that you will need. I went to a career program after I retired. They showed how to use your talents and interests to determine your next career choice.
