My boss's boss just left with no job lined up
I have had the feeling of being on a sinking ship for a while now. Our CEO only wants to talk about stock prices. A number of formerly dedicated workers left abruptly, including leadership favorites. Our team is not building new things and seems to be given busy work.
Then today I found out my boss's boss left the company without another job lined up.
They didn't even bother to spin it as a sabbatical, they just said he left.
Is it time for this rat to flee the sinking ship too or is there a chance I am reading too much into this?
(For a bit of data, the Glassdoor reviews are plummeting too.)

My boss left a job without another one lined up. She had the bandwidth to be able to do so. This is something we could never afford to do, so when I left, I had been unhappy already and spent another 3 months looking for a job. It sucks, but I would say stick it out if you can and find another job. But if you are unhappy and can afford to do so, leave and look for a new job.
