A friend's daughter is highly conscientious, honest, clean and neat, and has a college degree. However, she has had a terrible time getting a job. She is autistic and I am guessing she is perhaps too blunt and honest in responding to interview questions. If you are an employer who gives autistic people a chance, THANK YOU. Especially when it's an introvert-friendly job, you will usually be glad you did because this person will work hard and strive to do everything you ask. If you are an employer who wouldn't rule someone out automatically if they were socially awkward/different OR if you are autistic and recently got a job, please provide any advice you think is pertinent. Thank you!
