What is with all of these weird posts that keep showing up, particularly in the email digests? For example, today, my email digst is full of stuff like "Ultimate Expedia Contact Guide: 86 Ways to Solve Your Travel Issues Fast Reaching a live representative at United can make all the difference."

Is there a way to keep these out of the discussion boards?

Yesterday was 20+ posts about abortion in Kuwait. I'm ready to give up on this platform. :(

Last week my account was deactivated but not by me or FGB. It came right after I flagged quite a few of the spam posts. I'm thinking their site was hacked.

    SPAMERS

It appears indeed that spammers have flooded the FGB site. The team is working to have the site cleaned up and also likely working to prevent this from happening in the future. It never hurts to flag messages although I know it gets frustrating.

As of late things have looked much better. Sadly, the more tech there is, the more we find people who want to ruin things.

Do you know this for sure that the team is working on this? How "likely" are they working to prevent it? It seriously undermines the credibility of the platform if they can't keep obvious spam like this from appearing.

I assume you are part of the team that is working on this issue, so I have a couple of suggestions:

-Reviewing posts (at least temporarily, until you are sure this is addressed).

-It would also be a good thing for you to require a review of any posts that have live links in them. That way, you can ensure that the sites linked are safe. Many people on this site are desperate, which makes it attractive to those who want to take advantage.

Still seeing more today, so I guess it's not fixed yet.
