How do you add a position to your resume you learned nothing at?

So I was a QA manager and took a senior associate level position at a large, well known company. I was told I’d be responsible for starting an on the floor team and getting manufacturing ready for inspection. Once I moved and started the new position…. All I’ve been doing is reviewing batch records. Something a low level associate could do. I’m ready to move on, but I don’t know how to update my resume. I don’t want it to seem there was a gap in employment, but there are no skills or projects at the position to really add from being a manager previously. How do I update my resume?

I'd still include it and list the same responsibilities from the original job posting - That's what they advertised for the role.

You still add the role in there and what you were hired to do. When asked in interviews why you are leaving let others know that the company rolled back their need to build as large as you expected so the challenge you hoped for is just not there and that is why you are looking again. End of story.
