(22 yr old female) Hi everyone, looking for some advice.

(22 yr old female) Hi everyone, looking for some advice. I recently graduated college this past August. I have been on LinkedIn for months applying to jobs and have had no luck. I have a pretty good resume (could use another opinion) and am at a loss of where to go! Any advice would be appreciated.

    Congratulations on your graduation!

You don't mention what field you're trying to apply for jobs. There are several resume reviewing websites and even people here on FGB who can help.

As far as job search - try looking for websites that are tailored to the industry/field where you want to work. For example, I have degrees in education. In addition to LinkedIn, there are several education-specific job sites I registered with.

Also, if there's someone you'd like to work for, go online to a company's website - see if they have any job openings.

Finally, there are other general job sites like Glassdoor, Zip Recruiter, and Indeed.com.

    All the best!

Focus. Make sure that your resume is focused to what you want, engage those on Linked in that are in alignment with that focus. Good Luck!!

Have you used your college's career center? See them for a review of your resume & make use of whatever online platform they use for job applications & interviewing (it's likely Handshake or Symplicity). Good luck to you!
