I graduated yesterday with my dual MSW/MBA degrees, but I am highly discouraged that I am still out of work after six months.
I am over 55, and a veteran; I am exuberant, hard working, and love working with people of all ages and backgrounds. On other job search websites I am being offered positions such as warehouse sorting or store greeter. I'm wondering if there is a job search site for professionals that I am not aware of, and any tips or ideas for getting interviews without age getting in the way. The university job service is connected with the search sites that are offering me warehouse jobs even though I have kept my information updated. Thank you for any advice.

After bullying and unnecessary conflict, I resigned from a position and had to give almost 3.5 weeks notice.

You need a new resume so you can update your LinkedIn and Fairygodboss profiles. The language has to translate from previous fields to the new one. It also has to show your achievements because, let's face it, ageism is real. By showing your value, you will be at the top of the pile.

You need to network to be offered the jobs you're looking for. Most jobs are not advertised once you get to a certain level. Don't waste your time. Use you network.
