Hello, I am a student at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, NJ. I am currently pursuing a Master's in Data Science (final semester)

I am Medha Besta, pursuing my master's in Data Science at Stevens Institute of Technology, where I am in my third semester. My passion for data has driven me to develop a strong technical skill set with a focus on becoming a proficient data analyst. Over the course of my academic journey, I have acquired expertise in Python, SQL, BigQuery, Excel, data modeling, and visualization tools like Matplotlib, Tableau, and Power BI. Python allows me to efficiently handle data preprocessing, manipulation, and statistical analysis, while SQL enables me to work with relational databases and execute complex queries on large datasets. My experience with BigQuery has been instrumental in learning to analyze large-scale data in cloud environments, and my proficiency in Excel ensures I can perform quick exploratory analysis and modeling when needed. In terms of visualization, I am skilled at crafting insightful, customized visualizations using Matplotlib and building interactive dashboards with Tableau and Power BI, making complex data easy to understand for stakeholders. I also excel at data modeling, organizing data for analysis, and identifying trends and patterns using statistical techniques such as regression analysis and hypothesis testing. Beyond technical expertise, I am hardworking, positive, and always eager to learn new things. I embrace challenges and enjoy solving complex problems.
