Hi All,

I hope you are well.

I'm based in the UK and I am struggling with my career path.

I moved from Accounts Assistant to Finance Business Partner in the last four years.

However I've noticed the salary is absolutely low .

I know salary is not everything but I am also not getting job satisfaction and not learning anything new.

Do you have any advise on high paying roles or industries that don't necessarily.involve managing people.

What would your advise be to someone fairly new to the accounting world.

Also has anyone transitioned out of accounting?

    A strategy might be to do some continuing education, perhaps in other areas of interest you might consider for a pivot. Then, especially if you need an income boost, try something as a side hustle with the potential for a full-time move. Many career pivots start this way.
