Technical recruiters

Are there certain non-customer facing tech roles that are growing in the United States currently?

I know there are several entry tech roles but some appear to be shifting offshores. I'd love to grow with a company as a software QA, Salesforce admin, etc.

Hi there! There are some growing tech fields that can be less customer facing. The most recent hot topics have been Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI). There are several different avenues in both and typically may not require lots of interaction with customers.

The roles that you shared are viable options that are out there and may have more interaction with internal customers (staff) than external.

    Hope this helps!

    It does, thank you!

QA is at risk of being automated away, so I wouldn't suggest focusing there. Salesforce Admin, HubSpot Admin, Business Analyst might be more safe!

It depends on the size of the organization. The larger the organization, the more likely a role is to be automated or offshored. If you want to grow with a company, your best bet is to start with a small to midsized organization. The likelihood of outsourcing in smaller organizations is much lower than in large organizations because it is not worth the cost to manage it. The other option is to go to an organization where IT and tech are primarily support role, like a college or university.

Machine training roles are increasing but entering tech without tech experience in this market is a stretch. There are so many tech folks with experience currently on the market. The closer you get to AI, the more relevant you will make yourself.

It definitely seems AI is here and growing for sure. Are there any entry level AI certifications that you see are valuable?

I currently work at a tech company which is great. I'll definitely check to see what opportunities are available for IDAM and cybersecurity
